Best Carpet for your Rental

There are many considerations and circumstances that come into play when you are a Landlord and choosing a tenant to rent your property. One of the main considerations can be what type of flooring your rental should have. You want the rooms to look good, and have a cozy feel, so you’ve chosen to go with carpeting, but you must also be practical, while choosing carpet that is durable and will last a long time. Protecting your investment is key when choosing carpet. What is the best carpet for your rental?

Here are the best carpeting tips for rental properties.

1. Durability

When choosing carpet for rental properties the goal is to choose something that will withstand constant traffic, and will look good for a long time. The cost of the carpet is a major consideration, but so is the durability.

2. Colour

We’ve all had the temptation to pick our favourite colours when renovating or replacing something for the home. When choosing the best carpet for your rental home however, your best bet is to stick with neutral colours that can appeal to just about anyone who might rent the property.

3. Noise Reduction

Carpet can help keep noise levels down. Try to choose a tight, short pile for easier care, and some kind of stain resistance to help it last longer. More plush styles can be great in bedrooms, but it can trap odours, so this type is best kept away from bathrooms and kitchens.

4. Regular Cleaning

Regardless of what type of you choose, regular cleaning is essential to prolonging the life of your rental property carpet. Maintaining a regular cleaning schedule saves more money over time and increases the value of your investment. A skilled carpet cleaning company can not only keep your carpets healthy, but also offer other services, like treating upholstery, and tile and grout cleaning.

Very impressed and pleased with the dazzle service that was recommended to me by my in laws. From the start (initial contact, follow-up, service)...I would give it two thumbs up! Look no further for carpet cleaning. My carpet cleaner was Aiden and he was terrific.

Bernard and his team are very professional. They don’t leave the job until you’re satisfied. I had some tough stains to get out and was surprised that they were able to get a lot of it out. I will definitely keep their number handy and use them again in the future!!

Very grateful
Our technician Aiden did a great job! He was on time, professional, friendly, made sure furniture/walls/corners were protected. Also worked hard and quickly, very efficient. Carpet looks great. Thank you!

Aiden professionally cleaned a couple of our large area rugs and our sofa. He was very nice, very professional, and did a great job! The most important thing to me was to use a company that used cleaning products safe for my baby and my two dogs, and that’s what this company uses. Not only that, but they’re eco-friendly. I was thinking there would still be some lingering smell from the cleaning solution, but I didn’t smell anything at all which made me feel confident my baby and pets wouldn’t be breathing anything toxic as promised. We will definitely be using Dazzle again :)

Dazzle Carpet Cleaning provided excellent service at very competitive prices. The technician they sent, Aidan, was punctual, professional and pleasant. He worked on stains until both he and I were satisfied they were removed. The products used were scent-free and dry within a couple of hours. I would definitely use Dazzle services again.

We are extremely happy with the carpet cleaning and vinyl waxing job, Rob and his team from Dazzle has done for us in our office space. They were quick, efficient and more than accommodating to us for our needs. The outcome was fantastic! I would highly recommend and intend to use them again in the future.

We had our carpet cleaned by them when my baby is three months old. They use plant based solution so it’s baby and pets friendly. Carpet got cleaned very well except one spot was stained with oil which came back to the surface after couple days which was exactly what they told us what might happen since it’s oil. Other than that, the carpet looks fresh and clean and they were able to remove couple of tough stains left by our dog. Will definitely use them again!
