Do you need Carpet purchasing tips? Are you a landlord renting property to tenants? One of the main concerns for any rental unit is what type of flooring your rental should it have. You want the rooms to look good, and have a cozy feel, so you’ve chosen to go with carpeting. You must also be practical, while choosing carpet that is durable and will last a long time.

So, what are our best carpeting purchasing tips for rental properties?

Durability

When choosing carpet for rental properties the goal is to choose something that will withstand constant traffic, and will look good for a long time. The cost of the carpet is a major consideration, but so is the durability.

Colour

We’ve all had the temptation to pick our favourite colours when renovating or replacing something for the home. When choosing carpet for a rental home however, your best bet is to stick with neutral colours that can appeal to just about anyone who might rent the property.

Noise Reduction

Carpet can help keep noise levels down. Try to choose a tight, short pile for easier care, and some kind of stain resistance to help it last longer. More plush styles can be great in bedrooms, but it can trap odours, so this type is best kept away from bathrooms and kitchens.

Regular Cleaning

Regardless of what type of you choose, regular cleaning is essential to prolonging the life of your rental property carpet. A skilled carpet cleaning company can not only keep your carpets healthy, but also offer other services, like treating upholstery, and tile and grout cleaning.

We are here to give you insight. We provide the necessary carpet purchasing tips you need to make the best decision for you.

Aiden was on time, polite, and very professional. Our kid drew on the carpet and spilled milk on it which we all thought wasn’t gonna go away, but Aiden made it look new. Would totally recommend

I called Dazzle carpet cleaners to clean older carpet in my condo. I was so impressed by the amazing job Aiden did and his professionalism. He was even able to get out some stains I thought were there for good. So impressed! Will absolutely use Dazzle again.

We had our carpet cleaned by them when my baby is three months old. They use plant based solution so it’s baby and pets friendly. Carpet got cleaned very well except one spot was stained with oil which came back to the surface after couple days which was exactly what they told us what might happen since it’s oil. Other than that, the carpet looks fresh and clean and they were able to remove couple of tough stains left by our dog. Will definitely use them again!

Bernard and his team are very professional. They don’t leave the job until you’re satisfied. I had some tough stains to get out and was surprised that they were able to get a lot of it out. I will definitely keep their number handy and use them again in the future!!

Very grateful
Dazzle came to do carpet cleaning in my apartment building which turned out incredible. Our building is very old and the carpets were very saturated. You can see the lightness in color now and they no longer smell. I also utilized them to clean my carpet, bar stools, and couch on the same day. They did an excellent job. Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable

I had the Dazzle come in to have our carpet cleaned prior to the arrival of our newborn. It was a very last minute decision and initially, I was hesitant about cleaning the carpet as I remembered it would usually leave a strong chemical smell and I had to ventilate the whole house for at least a couple days. We are a family of two young toddlers and a newborn on the way and I was not sure if I wanted to risk having the wet and chemical soaked carpet only a couple weeks before my due date. But I realized I worried for nothing. I was able to get an appointment promptly and get the work done in a matter of a few days. Rob and his assistant did a fantastic job! There was absolutely no need for me to worry about the smell or ventilation as there was none and the carpet were spotlessly clean. They convinced me that I could have a clean, if not cleaner, carpet without having to use strong chemical filled products. I would highly recommend to anybody but especially, for families with young children like ours who can appreciate their plant based products that are safer to little ones. All in all, I am 120% satisfied with their work and would love to have them come back to clean our carpet in the future again!
