Cherry Blossom Season: There’s no better place to be in the spring than here in Vancouver! The rainy winters have left everything green and lush and the city is adorned with beautiful white and pink flowers on our 40,000 cherry trees. Cherry blossom season is a time of renewal and a reminder of the fleeting beauty of nature and life. Take time to enjoy the beauty of the season with those you love. There are many places in Vancouver that you can get outside and enjoy the beautiful first signs of warmer weather to come.

Did you know the first 500 cherry trees in Vancouver were donated by the mayors of Kobe and Yokohama in the 1930’s? They were a gift thanking the city for honoring Japanese Canadians who served in WWI, and they’re a gift we still benefit from to this day.

Now no matter where you live in the lower mainland, there’s somewhere close you can go to get some fresh spring air while enjoying the beautiful sights of cherry blossom season. Now is a great time to get outdoors, with all the restrictions in place, it’s the best option for a family outing. We’ve compiled a list of local parks that are perfect for practicing the japanese custom of hanami or ‘flower-watching’. Put on some light layers, pack a picnic lunch, and venture out to your local park in search of beauty before it’s gone.

Some of our favourite places to enjoy Cherry Blossom Season in Vancouver are:

Stanley Park (in Vancouver)

Queen Elizabeth Park (in Vancouver)

Ambleside near Millennium Park (in West Vancouver)

Deep Cove (in North Vancouver)

Deer Lake Park (in Burnaby)

Minoru Park (in Richmond)

Rocky Point Park (in Port Moody)

Bear Creek Park (in Surrey)

Just had the Dazzle team clean my carpets yesterday, they did an amazing job and my carpets have never looked better. I will use their services in the future again! Very professional.

Aiden was on time, polite, and very professional. Our kid drew on the carpet and spilled milk on it which we all thought wasn’t gonna go away, but Aiden made it look new. Would totally recommend

Showed up when they were supposed to - I have had too much trouble with other companies no shows. Tech Aiden did a great job, asking questions as needed and letting me know of problems spots. Now that everything is dry, all the carpets look glossy and clean. I will be calling them again for future cleaning.

Dazzle Carpet Cleaning provided excellent service at very competitive prices. The technician they sent, Aidan, was punctual, professional and pleasant. He worked on stains until both he and I were satisfied they were removed. The products used were scent-free and dry within a couple of hours. I would definitely use Dazzle services again.

Very impressed and pleased with the dazzle service that was recommended to me by my in laws. From the start (initial contact, follow-up, service)...I would give it two thumbs up! Look no further for carpet cleaning. My carpet cleaner was Aiden and he was terrific.

Dazzle came to do carpet cleaning in my apartment building which turned out incredible. Our building is very old and the carpets were very saturated. You can see the lightness in color now and they no longer smell. I also utilized them to clean my carpet, bar stools, and couch on the same day. They did an excellent job. Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable
