Pizza stains on the carpet?!
When it comes to fatty or greasy carpet stains, you need to act fast to prevent long-term damage! For this carpet cleaning trick, you’re going to take out your IRON – and not for your clothes. Scrape off as much of the stain as you can with a dull butter knife – making sure not to damage the carpet fibers further – and then layer a couple of paper towels over the remaining stain. Then, turn your iron onto its LOWEST heat setting, and iron on top of the paper towels! After that, apply a mix of white vinegar, dishwashing soap, and warm water, and rinse – voila! Grease stains be gone.
Oh no, not chewing gum!
Gum stuck into your carpets is even worse than gum stuck into your HAIR. You might think that the gum should remain soft and gooey so that it’ll come out easier, but in all actuality, it should be cold and hard so that it can simply be peeled off! Wrap some ice in a kitchen towel, and then gently rub at the gum until it freezes, hardens, and peels off!
