How carpet cleaning is priced
Carpet is priced per area: $90 an area before the current promo, plus GST. One area is a room up to about 150 sq ft, one hallway or one set of stairs. The minimum is $210, and it covers up to 3 areas. One area on its own is $150.

In most condos, the minimum covers everything. If you’re booking two bedrooms, the third area costs nothing extra, so add the hallway or the living room rug.
What changes the price
How much is really carpet. Count rooms, hallways and stairs, not square footage. A 1,000 sq ft condo with carpet in two bedrooms is a small job. A house with a carpeted basement family room and a full staircase is a bigger one.
Big rugs over hard floors. A large rug in a living or dining room is $90, cleaned right where it lies with a method that suits the fibre. If it’s wool, send a photo of the tag when you book so we bring the right products. Smaller runners and bedside rugs are $65.
Very large rooms. An open living and dining room can run well past 150 sq ft. Mention the rough size in the booking chat and the price will be right before anyone arrives.
Light furniture. Light sofas and fabric dining chairs show every spill. If they’re due too, put them on the same visit: it’s the same setup and one trip.

- A walkthrough first, to agree on the areas and point out stains, pet spots and anything fragile.
