How much does mattress cleaning cost? Prices by size, and what's included
Most people never think about cleaning a mattress until something happens: a kid’s accident, a pet on the bed, a spill, or a yellow patch that shows up when the sheets come off. Then the first question is what it costs. Here are our prices, what they cover, and how the numbers add up for a real household.
Our mattress cleaning prices
All prices are plus GST. The current promo comes off jobs above our $210 minimum.
| Mattress | Price |
|---|---|
| King | $200 |
| Queen | $150 |
| Single or full | $100 |
The price is per mattress and depends only on its size. A stain, an odour or a pet accident doesn’t change it. A double is the same as a full.
What a few bookings come to
Before the promo and GST:
- One queen mattress: $150. A single or full on its own is also $150, our one-area special.
- A king in the main bedroom and two singles in the kids’ rooms: $200 + $100 + $100 = $400.
- A queen, plus a three-seat couch: $150 + $270 ($90 a seat) = $420.
- A guest-room full and a king, plus the bedroom carpet in both rooms: $100 + $200 + $180 ($90 a room) = $480.
Mattresses can go in the same booking as carpet, couches, rugs and dining chairs, so it’s one visit and one total. When you book online, the total updates as you add each item, before you pick a time.
What the clean includes
Every mattress gets the same process, whatever the size:
- A thorough vacuum of the surface and edges, to lift dust and skin flakes.
- Pre-treatment on stains and any odour spots, matched to what caused them. Pet and kid accidents get an enzyme pre-treatment.
- A low-moisture clean, extracted straight back out, so the mattress gets clean without getting soaked.
- Both sides, if the mattress can be flipped. Many newer mattresses are one-sided, so we do the sleeping side and the edges.
Our solutions are plant-based and safe for kids and pets once dry. We walk through the result with you before we leave.
What to expect from the stains
Being honest up front saves disappointment:
- Fresh spills and recent accidents usually come out well, stain and smell.
- Sweat and body-oil yellowing builds up over years. It usually lightens a lot, but an old yellow patch may not disappear completely.
- Urine that soaked deep into the foam can leave a faint mark even when the smell is gone. We’ll tell you what to expect before we start.
How to compare mattress cleaning quotes
When you look at other prices, check what’s actually in the number:
- Per mattress or per side? Some quotes are for one side only.
- Odour and pet treatment. Ask whether it’s included or added on the day.
- Tax. Make sure you’re comparing totals with tax.
Get the full total before you book. That’s the simplest way to compare.
Getting the bed back the same day
Book a morning clean if you can. Take the bedding off before we arrive, then open a window or run a fan afterwards. Put fresh sheets on only once the mattress is completely dry to the touch, and a mattress protector after that will keep the next spill off the mattress itself.
Is cleaning worth it, or should you replace the mattress?
If the mattress is still comfortable and supportive, cleaning costs a fraction of a new one and deals with the stains, smells and dust. If it sags, has broken springs, or you wake up sore, no clean will fix that, and it’s time to replace it.

Common questions
Do you clean crib mattresses or futons? Send a photo when you book and we’ll confirm the price, since these aren’t standard sizes.
Is there an extra charge for pet urine? No. The price depends only on the mattress size. Pre-treatment for accidents is part of the clean.
Can you clean a memory-foam mattress? Yes. The low-moisture method suits foam, because it doesn’t soak the mattress.
