Fabric cleaning waiver

We confirm the fabric before we arrive. If it can’t be identified, we ask you to sign this first. It takes a minute, and you won’t need to do it at the door.

1. Some upholstery, rugs and fabrics can’t be identified from a tag or by looking at them. When the fibre content is unknown, we can’t be sure how it will react to cleaning.
2. I understand that cleaning a piece with unknown or unlabelled fibre can cause shrinkage, colour bleeding or fading, browning, a change in texture, or water marks. Wear, sun fading, old damage and set-in stains may not come out.
3. Dazzle Carpet Cleaning will test a hidden spot first, use the gentlest suitable method, and stop if the test shows a problem.
4. I agree that, as long as reasonable care is taken, Dazzle Carpet Cleaning is not responsible for changes caused by the fabric’s construction or unknown fibre content.
5. I own the pieces listed, or I have the owner’s permission to have them cleaned.
