Done properly, the first time
Grout is porous, so it soaks up mop water, grease and dirt. We scrub the lines with a grout cleaner, then rinse and extract with hot water under pressure, inside a covered tool that keeps the spray off your cabinets and walls.
Kitchens, bathrooms, entryways and laundry rooms all work. Ceramic and porcelain are the most common. Natural stone needs a gentler approach, so tell us if you have marble, travertine or slate.
Tile floors are $2 to $2.50 a square foot, and the technician confirms the price on arrival. The minimum is $300 for a house and $375 for an apartment, and sealing is 40¢ a square foot. Shower surrounds have set prices, sealant included: $150 small, $185 medium (a regular tub with tile to the ceiling) and $245 large (walk-in showers and custom tubs).
